The contest is open to children under the age of 15 from across the country, with the evening being divided into two rounds.

In the first round, participants can submit entries from now until the end of November 30, and the results will be announced in January of next year.

The organizing board will then select the top nine paintings to proceed to the final round in Japan in March 2024. The winners will be announced in August 2024, with a total cash prize of $138,000 for the international competition.

The contest accepts submissions in two categories: hand-drawn works and graphic designs. Students can submit their drawings directly to the organizing board or send them by mail.

The Dream Car Art Contest has been organized annually by the Toyota Motor Corporation since 2004. It has become one of the largest drawing contests nationwide, with over five million entries in the 2011-2012 academic year alone.
