The Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Memorial Museum V.I. Lenin in Ulyanovsk join hands to present an exhibition as part of the 2024 Vietnamese Culture Days in Russia. This event commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on Principles of Friendly Relations and the 12th year of the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.Â
The exhibition showcases 58 posters, offering a unique perspective on the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh through graphic art. These artistic interpretations, created by Vietnamese artists, capture the essence of the leader’s impact after his passing. The display is divided into four distinct sections, each exploring different themes related to his life and work.
With impressive graphic techniques and concise language, the posters portray President Ho Chi Minh as a great leader, yet approachable and down-to-earth. They highlight his qualities and serve as a source of inspiration for generations of Vietnamese people in their pursuit of national development and defense.Â
Aleksey Russkich, governor of Ulyanovsk Oblast, emphasized the exhibition’s role in bridging the cultural gap between the youth and elders of Ulyanovsk, offering them a glimpse into Vietnam’s history and traditions. He also affirmed the event’s contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of culture, following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to Vietnam.
