Taemin will be performing at the event on the evening of March 30.

The festival will be held at Thi Nai Lagoon in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

This will be Taemin’s second performance in Vietnam, following his first visit to the Southeast Asian country in 2020.

After gaining fame as a member of the South Korean boyband SHINee in 2008, the 31-year-old singer has been balancing his solo career and performances with SHINee.

The group is currently on their ‘SHINee World VI: Perfect Illumination’ tour.

The news of Taemin’s performance at the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest coincides with the announcement that he will not be renewing his contract with South Korea-based SM Entertainment, ending his 16-year partnership with the management company.

During its week-long run, the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest will also feature the UIM-ABPAquabike International Water Motorcycle Tournament from March 22 to 24, attracting participants from over 30 countries.

There will also be traditional boat racing and mountain running tournaments from March 25 to 28.

Following that, the UIM F1H2O international professional motorboat racing tournament from March 29 to 31 will see nine teams competing, including representatives from China, Saudi Arabia, France, Finland, Turkey, and Vietnam.

In addition, the Binh Dinh culinary festival will offer a buffet showcasing 77 quintessential local specialties, along with a performance by a Michelin chef and various other cultural activities.
