Recently, Pham Kim Dung, the Country Director of Miss International Vietnam, has confirmed the selection of her candidate. This news has been widely accepted and is being celebrated by many.

The 21-year-old local beauty stands at a height of 1.70 meters, boasting a stunning set of measurements of 80-57-88. Hailing from Thanh Hoa, a province located in the central region of Vietnam, Phuong Nhi first gained prominence when she was awarded the title of second runner-up at the 2022 Miss World Vietnam pageant. As a result, she met the requirements to vie for the crown at the 2023 Miss International pageant.

Originally, the pageant was set to take place from November 12 to December 12, 2021, in Fukuoka, Japan. However, due to the ongoing global health crisis, the organizers had to move the competition online.

First launched back in 1960, Miss International makes up one of the Big Four international beauty competitions, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth. This year marks the 61st edition of the pageant.

In recent years, Vietnamese representatives have earned high placements in competitions, such as Pham Hong Thuy Van, who was the third runner-up in 2015, and Tuong San, who was ranked among the Top 8 in 2019. Their achievements demonstrate the country’s commitment to excellence and drive to succeed.
