At present, the organisers of the event have confirmed the participation of 40 contestants from across the globe, with a number of outstanding faces from Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, and the Philippines set to participate.

A number of the beauties competing had previously stared in Miss Universe 2019, including Miss Kenya Stacy Michuki, Miss Bolivia Fabiana Hurtabo, and Miss Spain Sofia Del Prado.

In addition to these, a number of other prestigious faces will also be competing, such as Miss Costa Rica Karina Ramos who had previously vied for Miss Universe 2014, Miss Cambodia Sotheary By, and Miss Peru Romina Lozano who also participated in Miss Universe 2017.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, head of Miss Charm 2020’s organising board, said that approximately 100 countries are to send representatives to the competition, with a total of 40 contestants being selected so far. 

She noted that as the debut event of the beauty pageant, the occasion is hoping to be of a high-quality and include a prestigious venue, with the organisers working hard and carefully choosing the best contestants.

As Vietnam’s representative, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga be competing on behalf of the nation at Miss Charm 2020. The local girl has plenty of experience competing in other beauty pageants, having finished as the runner-up back in Miss Student 2017, whilst also securing a Top 10 finish during Miss World Vietnam 2019.      

Along with some of the competitors, a number of jury members have also been unveiled such as former president of the Miss Venezuela Organization Osmel Sousa, Miss World 2015 Mireila Lagaguna, and Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova.
