The 2022 Nguyen Hue Flower Street is scheduled to open from 7:00 pm on January 29 to the end of February 4 along Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in District 1.
As of Wednesday, the construction and decoration process was almost complete, according to the observation of Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reporters.
A large number of potted flowers have been transported to the venue for the decoration works.

The zodiac animal of the flower street is the tiger because 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, while the main colors will be orange and green, which represent the characteristics of the tiger as well as spread the message of environmental protection, according to the design team.
This year’s flower street will recreate the rural scene of Vietnam with rice paddy fields, gourd gardens, tomato plants, monkey bridges, and ponds, said Phan Thi Ai Thuy, a member of the design team.
The theme will help the people who are unable to return to their hometown this Tet holiday feel less homesick, Thuy elaborated.

They must also wear face masks, even when posing for a photo.
The 2022 Lunar New Year falls on February 1, with preparations and celebrations starting a week before and lasting until a week after that date.
