Phuong emerged as the victor among a pool of 43 competitors, securing the title during the coronation ceremony held at the prestigious Phu Tho Gymnasium located in District 11.
The new title holder, replacing last year’s winner Doan Thien An, is now set to represent our country in the upcoming Miss Grand International 2023 pageant. This thrilling event is scheduled to take place at the same venue in October.

Bui Khanh Linh achieved the title of first runner-up, with Truong Qui Minh Nhan, Le Thi Hong Hanh, and Dang Hoang Tam Nhu ranking as the second, third, and fourth runners-up in this competition.
Miss Isabella Menin, the current titleholder of Miss Grand International (MGI) representing Brazil, was honored with her presence at the elegant occasion. She joined esteemed personalities Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut, the executives of the MGI pageant, to grace the glittering event.

During Sunday’s finale, a total of 44 contestants showcased their talents and competed in five distinct rounds. These rounds included introductions, swimsuits, evening gowns, speeches, and the Q&A portion.
Nguyen Vinh Ha Phuong, who impressed the audience with her mastery of operatic vocal techniques, was awarded the prestigious ‘Best Introduction’ prize.
Nguyen Thi Thu Hang was awarded the prestigious ‘Best in Swimsuit’ prize, solidifying her position as the first contestant to secure a coveted spot in the top 20.

After a careful evaluation of the participants’ performance in the initial three rounds, the esteemed panel of judges has handpicked the crème de la crème of contestants for the highly anticipated speech round. In this round, each participant will eloquently delve into a range of profound topics, including the delicate topic of familial discord, harrowing experiences with school violence, and the art of effective interpersonal communication. Prepare to be captivated by the sheer brilliance of these contestants’ perspectives and their ability to articulate them with passion and poise.
The participants demonstrated a strong ability to confidently communicate in both Vietnamese and English languages.

The top five contestants advanced to the Q&A segment where they each drew questions and delivered their responses in succession.
The five questions were found to be generally straightforward and have been accessible in different contexts in the past.

Finally, Le Hoang Phuong, a 27-year-old fashion model and architecture graduate from Khanh Hoa Province, was declared the victor.
The recently crowned Miss Grand Vietnam, has a rich history in pageantry, having previously competed in Miss Universe Vietnam. In the 2022 edition, she achieved an impressive top five placement and received accolades for her exceptional performance in the swimsuit and facial beauty categories, winning the titles of ‘Best in Swimsuit’ and ‘Best Face’ in 2019.
