According to Jakob Helgen, the Area Vice President of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar at Marriott International, the presence of international branded hotels in the growing beach tourism destination of Quy Nhon is limited. As a result, the opening of Courtyard by Marriott represents a significant achievement in the company’s expansion plans within Vietnam.
“We are delighted to collaborate with AKYN Hospitality Group, a forward-thinking and vibrant local hospitality group in Vietnam, in the inauguration of this exciting new venture,” he expressed.
Marriott International has formed a successful partnership with AKYN Hospitality Group to oversee several prestigious hotel ventures in central and southern regions of Vietnam. These include the highly anticipated opening of the Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh in Khanh Hoa Province in late 2022, a luxurious five-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and an exquisite resort in Phuoc Hai in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
Quy Nhon serves as the capital city of Binh Dinh province, located in the central coastal region of Vietnam. Renowned for its allure, it is a popular tourist destination that welcomed over five million visitors in 2019. With its ongoing development, Quy Nhon is set to evolve into a significant commercial and recreational center in the nation’s future.
Situated in the vibrant center of Quy Nhon City, Courtyard by Marriott Quy Nhon Hotel is conveniently located just a mere two-minute stroll from the breathtaking beach and a short five-minute drive from Binh Dinh Convention Centre. This exceptional establishment is dedicated to providing a first-rate hospitality experience, catering to both the discerning locals and esteemed guests visiting the city.
