This upcoming event marks a significant first: a member of the iconic group Big Bang will be gracing fans in the nation with both a fan meeting and a concert. It’s an exciting opportunity for all.

The Asian tour, titled “Daesung Fan Day Tour: D’s Road,” kicked off on March 16 in the Republic of Korea, following the release of his latest album, “Falling Slow.” This tour holds a special significance as it’s the first time Daesung has interacted with his Asian fan base as a solo artist.

The tour itinerary includes stops in several Asian cities, such as Taipei, Bangkok, and Macau, before arriving in Ho Chi Minh City on July 6. It promises to be a memorable journey for both the artist and his dedicated fans.

Daesung, whose real name is Kang Dae Sung, debuted with the phenomenal K-pop group Big Bang in 2006. Two years later, in 2008, he embarked on his solo career with the release of his first single, “Look at Me, Gwisun.” Since then, he has continued to build a successful solo trajectory.

A notable milestone in his solo career was the release of his Japanese album “D’scover” in 2013, which garnered immense success in the Japanese market. Daesung’s talent and popularity have earned him a place in the hearts of fans across Asia and beyond.

Big Bang, often hailed as the “King of K-pop,” has achieved international acclaim. In 2016, they became the first artist from the Republic of Korea to make it onto Forbes’ “Celebrity 100” list. The group’s influence continued to grow, and in 2017, they were listed among the “30 Under 30” most influential musicians worldwide. Their impact on the K-pop genre and global music industry is undeniable.
