The Saigon WaterGo is the latest tourism product in the city, offering an exciting river cruise experience to visitors.

On Saturday afternoon, residents of Ho Chi Minh City were amazed by the arrival of the Saigon WaterGo, a double-decker boat floating down the Saigon River.

This boat stands out with its unique and attractive design, featuring an open and roofless upper section that allows passengers to enjoy panoramic views of the bustling metropolis.

Tran Thi Phuong Thao, a resident of Binh Thanh District and one of the first passengers aboard the open-top double-decker water bus, expressed her excitement about the river cruise.

“This is my first time enjoying the entire city at sunset on an open-top boat like this,” said Thao.

Nguyen Kim Toan, the director of Daily Company, which manages water buses and double-decker boats, shared with Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the concept for the double-decker boat service was inspired by the desire to provide residents and visitors with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Saigon River.

The introduction of the open-top double-decker boat service coincided with the ongoing beautification efforts along both sides of the river.

The goal is to bring residents and tourists closer to the waterway, fostering a deeper appreciation for both the river and the city.
