The highlights of the event will include a ceremony announcing Hoi An’s membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and a countdown party at the An Hoi Sculpture Garden on the evening of December 31.

In addition to that, there will be many other exciting activities such as an art installation space, a showcase of craft products, and an exhibition featuring photos of Hoi An’s tourism taken by both professional and amateur photographers from all over the country.

Moreover, there will be a food fair where a variety of traditional cuisine will be displayed and introduced to both locals and international visitors, as well as workshops on cuisine, a dancing festival, and a video making contest to create a lively and festive atmosphere for participants.

To celebrate the New Year 2024, there will be a tea ceremony held on the morning of January 1. Furthermore, a ceremony will also take place at Ba Mu Temple to welcome the first group of tourists to Hoi An on the same day.

This annual festive event is part of Hoi An’s efforts to promote local tourism and attract both domestic and international tourists.
