As stated by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, the highlight of the festival will be a dedicated space to showcase regional and international cuisine. There will also be an area featuring dishes from typical handicraft villages of Hanoi and other localities.
Additionally, festival-goers will have the opportunity to participate in folk games, cultural and art exchanges, as well as seminars focusing on human resources development to support the food industry.
This three-day event aims to honor, preserve, and promote the traditional cultural and culinary values of the capital city. It also aims to develop and effectively leverage the brand name of Hanoi’s culture, food, and tourism, while creating more business cooperation opportunities in the local area.
Furthermore, this festival serves as a chance to showcase the thousand-year-old capital city as a unique tourism, culture, and food destination to both domestic and foreign visitors. It also strengthens people-to-people exchanges and fosters friendships between Hanoi and foreign embassies located in the city.
Various activities will take place during the festival, including a photo exhibition showcasing the culture, tourism, and cuisine of Vietnam and other countries such as Denmark, Venezuela, India, Iran, and Panama. Additionally, there will be a mobile book exhibition introducing the cultural arts, tourism, and food from different countries around the world.
