The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee, will be organizing the first-ever international jazz festival in Nha Trang city. This event will feature renowned jazz artists from both domestic and international scenes.
This initiative follows the successful jazz festivals held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which were jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the European Commission Delegation in Vietnam, along with the embassies of Denmark, Wallpnia-Brussels in Belgium, France, Argentina, Luxembourg, Germany, and Bulgaria.
The main objective of this festival is to encourage cultural exchanges among the Vietnamese people and introduce modern European music to the local audience. It is expected that the upcoming jazz festival in Nha Trang city will contribute to Khanh Hoa province’s target of attracting nine million visitors, including three million foreign arrivals, and generating tourism revenue of over VND4 trillion this year.
