Four films with English and Vietnamese subtitles will be showcased during the event, which will be held until July 29th. Screenings will take place every Saturday at 5 p.m., with tickets priced at VND75,000.

The opening film, Fire Training Secrets, follows the story of two best friends, Jean-Gab and Manu, who come up with a unique idea after encountering a giant fly trapped in a car trunk.

Additionally, local audiences will have the opportunity to watch The Umbrellas of Cherbourg on July 15th. This musical romantic drama, written and directed by Jacques Demy, received the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1964.

Furthermore, Bed with Victoria, a 2016 French romantic comedy-drama directed by Justine Triet, will be screened on July 22nd. The film was previously featured in the International Critics’ Week section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Actress Efira received a Magritte Award for Best Actress for her role in the film.

The final film on the list is The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales, a 2017 French/Belgian animated anthology comedy film, which will be presented in Da Nang on July 29th. The film had its premiere at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 15, 2017, and was later released in France on June 21 by StudioCanal.
