Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to savor authentic Vietnamese delicacies and witness an exquisite Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese long dress) fashion show, as well as a captivating Non La (palm-leaf conical hat) dance performance.
In addition, the organizers presented awards for a Vietnamese language competition which garnered significant participation from numerous countries, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the Vietnamese language worldwide.
In his speech, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ngo Huong Nam, encouraged Vietnamese expatriates to forge unity and support initiatives that aim to preserve the Vietnamese cultural heritage within the Central European nation.
Since its establishment in October 2022, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Netherlands, together with the Vietnamese Women’s Union in the Netherlands, which was founded in early 2023, have actively organized various community activities to foster the connection among Vietnamese expatriates in the country.

Vietnam’s First Ao dai Museum
A museum dedicated to showcasing only Ao dai (a traditional Vietnamese dress) through various periods and the process of making them has opened in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 9.
