With the upcoming nine-day break from work, spanning from January 25 to February 2, many are flocking to renowned and captivating sites, such as the ancient Nam Son Pagoda, to capture memorable moments with their loved ones.

Nam Son Pagoda, located in Hoa Chau Commune, Hoa Vang District, in the heart of Da Nang City, has become a hotspot for visitors during this festive season. Its ancient architecture and dream-like atmosphere create a unique and enchanting backdrop for photographs.

The pagoda’s red-tiled roofs and exquisite carvings on its enchanting towers are a sight to behold. Young people, donning colorful traditional Vietnamese attire, known as ao dai, flock to the pagoda to capture memorable photos amidst its ancient beauty.

Xuan Vi, a 24-year-old local from Hai Chau District, shares her enthusiasm for the festive photoshoots: “The sunny yet slightly chilly weather sets the perfect mood for our Tet-themed photos. Wearing ao dai and posing at this gorgeous pagoda truly makes me feel the festive vibe. I can’t wait to share my excitement and anticipation for Tet by posting these photos on social media.”

Every afternoon, the pagoda buzzes with young visitors, their colorful outfits of red, yellow, green, and white adding a vibrant touch to the ancient setting.

The young women go the extra mile by bringing creative photo props such as the iconic Vietnamese conical hat, non la, paper fans, and red envelopes to add a personal and festive touch to their albums.

Le Do Nha Phuong, a 22-year-old resident of Ngu Hanh Son District, shares her reasons for choosing Nam Son Pagoda as her photoshoot location: “The architectural allure and peaceful atmosphere of the pagoda are truly captivating. I’ve also noticed that many photos taken here have gone viral on social media lately, so my friends and I wanted to join in on the trend.”

Beyond the photoshoots, visitors also take the opportunity to offer incense and pray for health and happiness in the coming new year.
