This event marks the introduction of an international professional powerboat race in Vietnam.

The competition consists of two thrilling categories, namely the UIM-F1H2O powerboat and UIM-ABP Aquabike, showcasing the skills of more than 70 athletes, including seasoned racers from around the world.

Tran Van Thanh, director of the Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, sees the week-long event as an opportunity to attract both domestic and international tourists.
