The purpose of this event is to honor and showcase the beautiful landscapes of our nation, with a special focus on the ancient heritage of Hue. Through photography activities, we aim to strengthen international exchanges and promote the Hue brand, thereby boosting local tourism on both the domestic and international tourism maps.

Participants will have the opportunity to capture stunning photographs and explore the heritage sites of Hue, including Lap An lagoon, Van Mieu, King Minh Mang’s mausoleum, King Tu Duc’s mausoleum, King Khai Dinh’s mausoleum, Quang Loi lagoon, Thanh Toan tile bridge, Thanh Tien paper flower village, and Dong Ba market.

In addition, a photo contest will be held during the festival, with approximately 1000 entries to be judged by both domestic and international photographers.

The winning photos will be displayed and then donated to the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, further promoting the cultural heritages of Hue.

Various volunteer photography activities related to environmental protection, as well as donations of learning tools to underprivileged children, will also be organized during the event.

Of particular interest, there will be an exhibition of the winning photos from the 12th International Art Photo Contest – 2023 in Vietnam, along with a talk on the topic of “Future World Art Photo Trends” scheduled for September 11th in Hue.
