The esteemed Mexican Ambassador to Vietnam, Alejandro Negrin, has announced a unique collaboration with Naco Taco, endorsed by the Mexican Embassy in Vietnam. This month-long celebration of Mexican cuisine and culture will take place throughout May.

The event, hosted at Angelina – the hotel’s contemporary cocktail bar, whisky lounge, and restaurant – promises an unforgettable dining experience.

“‘A Taste of Mexico’ is more than just a culinary celebration; it serves as a vibrant bridge connecting Vietnamese and Mexican cultures,” said Ambassador Negrin. “We are thrilled to showcase the rich and diverse flavors of our country’s gastronomic heritage.”

Chef Gabriela Espinosa, a renowned Mexican culinary artist based in Bangkok, will join forces with the Angelina and Metropole teams. Together with Metropole’s Culinary Director Remi Van Peteghem, they will craft a unique menu that highlights the complex and culturally rich flavors of Mexico, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage cuisine.

Octavio Muñoz Castillo Jauregui, Master Mezcalier and co-founder of Naco Taco, will also collaborate with Angelina’s mixologists. They will create a special selection of mezcal-based cocktails, expertly crafted to complement the culinary delights.
