The Hanoi Festival of Creative Design, themed “Creative Intersection,” has successfully united creative professionals, artists, designers, experts, and the local community, fostering a vibrant hub of engagement and innovation.

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, emphasized the festival’s role in celebrating Hanoi’s recognition as a “Creative City” within the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. She highlighted the people-centric nature of the activities, which showcased the community’s creative talents and encouraged collaboration between artists and locals. The festival also attracted international attention and support, drawing large crowds and participants from abroad.

The spouses of diplomats embarked on a journey through the festival’s diverse venues, starting with the Hanoi Children’s Palace, which presented a unique theme, “Nostalgia for the Future.”

The ambassadors’ wives commenced their tour at the Hanoi Children’s Palace, a hub of creative expression and innovation.

The palace showcased the “Cheo Meo” exhibition, featuring the remarkable talents of autistic children. It also hosted workshops and displayed installations by the artist Vu Tan Dan, offering a diverse range of artistic experiences.
The ladies captured memorable moments at the picturesque Dien Hong Flower Garden, a serene setting that enhanced their cultural exploration.
They delved into the “Flow” Pavilion, a unique artistic journey. The pavilions seamlessly guided them from the open space of the flower garden to the enclosed area within the Bac Bo Phu, culminating in an art garden that fused heritage and contemporary expression.
An immersive experience awaited them at the “Touch Point” installation, creatively presented on the historic iron door of the Tonkin Palace, where bullet holes and war traces were transformed into powerful art.
With a sense of curiosity, the ladies explored the historical relics of Bac Bo Phu, also known as the Tonkin Palace, uncovering the stories and significance behind these ancient structures.
Their journey continued to the renowned Indochina University, renowned for its architectural grandeur. They were greeted by Curator Nguyen The Son, who presented the magnificent “Indochina Sense” exhibition, a showcase of cultural fusion and artistic brilliance.
