According to latest update provided on the beauty pageant’s official fan page, Thien An received nearly 635,000 votes on Instagram during the first round.

The next round will see 10 leading contestants divided into two groups. The Vietnamese beauty was placed into Group 1 along with the likes of Miss Costa Rica, Miss Guatemala, Miss Indonesia, and Miss Mexico.

Group 2 will feature Miss Colombia, Miss India, Miss Malaysia, Miss Paraguay, and Miss Thailand.

Two winners from each group will be voted for via Instagram until October 13, and the winner of the sub-contest will then go straight into the top 20.

Following the sub-contest, Thien An will compete in the national costume competition where she will wear a unique outfit designed by Tran Thanh Tam.

Thien An, 22, of the Mekong Delta province of Long An was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 on October 1.

Standing at 1.75m tall, she is currently a student of the Industrial University in Ho Chi Minh City. She weighs 60 kg and measures 88.5-66-98.
