The event will be co-organised by the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Innovations India Company.

The festival will consist of a range of activities, including seminars and meetings relating to culture, trade, investment, education, health care, and tourism.

The opening ceremony will be held at Reunification Hall in District 1 on August 13, while cultural events, fashion shows, and Indian film festivals are expected to take place from August 15 to August 21.

The Namaste Vietnam Festival offers an excellent opportunity for firms from the two countries to reconnect businesses following COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected to become a platform to promote tourism, commerce, art, culture, music, and cinema between the two countries.

The Indian Film Week 2022 will be held at IDECAF Theater from August 14 to August 20. A number of Bollywood’s leading movies will be screened during the week.
