Lazada Vietnam is set to donate 20,000 books to students in the north-central province of Quang Tri through its book donation program. This initiative is part of the Authorized Book Festival, co-organized by Lazada Vietnam, Fahasa, Alpha Books, and Deli, which will take place from December 23 to 25, 2020. During the festival, for each bill worth VND200,000 or more, Lazada and its partners will donate 10% of the bill value to purchase books and stationery for the students.

Commenting on the program, James Dong, CEO of Lazada Vietnam, expressed his pleasure in collaborating with Fahasa, Alpha Books, Deli, and WeDo to carry out this book donation initiative. He is hopeful that the community will provide further support to strengthen the program and provide greater benefits to children across Vietnam.

Le Thi Huong, director of the Quang Tri Province Department of Education and Training, stated that the donated books are practical and valuable gifts that will encourage students to read more regularly, while the stationery will be useful for their studies. Lazada Vietnam plans to hand over the 20,000 books and 10,000 sets of stationery to the schools on January 5 and 6, 2021, as part of this program.
