The main attraction of the upcoming event is the premiere of the film “915,” a captivating production by An Thai Phuong Joint Stock Company. This 90-minute cinematic masterpiece delves into the lives of young volunteers during the resistance war against the US imperialists and their strive for liberation and unification of the country.
In addition to the feature film, the event will also showcase two compelling documentary films that highlight the nation’s construction and development journey. One of the documentaries is about Lawyer Vu Trong Khanh, a pivotal figure who drafted the nation’s Constitution. The other documentary, “One Life,” is a production by the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio, offering a unique perspective on the country’s progress.
Taking a creative approach to ancient folklore, the event will also feature the cartoon “The Hero of Tan Mountain.” This animated film retells the legendary battle between Son Tinh (Mountain God) and Thuy Tinh (Water God) and showcases the resilience of the Vietnamese people in reclaiming their land from the waters. With stunning 3D visuals and impressive effects, viewers will be immersed in a familiar tale presented in a fresh and modern way.
Organized by the Cinema Department, film studios, cultural, sports, and tourism departments, and cinema centers across the nation, the event promises to offer a unique blend of entertainment and insight into Vietnam’s rich history and cultural heritage.
