To position Hanoi as a desirable event destination, the tourism industry will focus on hosting large-scale events, such as the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 and sports tourism series. Additionally, cultural and historical activities, along with domestic tourism stimulus programs, will be organized to attract visitors.
Agro-rural tourism linked to new rural construction in Hanoi from 2022 to 2025 will also be a key area of focus. The department plans to develop a community-based tourism model, offering practical experiences in craft villages and destinations rich in the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities.
Furthermore, the department will continue its efforts to promote emerging destinations and tours through various media channels and enhance digital applications in tourism management to ensure a seamless visitor experience.
