Agoda’s report reveals the top nature destinations in Asia based on searches conducted on the platform in January 2024. To celebrate the launch of Eco Deals 2024, Agoda’s US$1 million partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), they compiled a list of Asia’s favored nature spots.

One of these destinations is Da Lat, a picturesque city situated on a plateau approximately 1,500 meters above sea level. Known for its cool climate and green pine forests, Da Lat is the perfect retreat from the heat.

Travelers can easily reach Da Lat by taking a short flight from Ho Chi Minh City. Once there, they can enjoy the city’s nature wonders, including hiking, canyoning, and exploring local gardens.

Da Lat is also famous for its mesmerizing foggy landscapes, attracting photographers from all over the world.

Other destinations on the list include Ooty in India, Lombok in Indonesia, Hakone in Japan, Miri in Malaysia, Siquijor Island in the Philippines, Jeongseon-gun in South Korea, Hualien in Taiwan, and Khao Yai in Thailand.

With a year-round mild climate, Da Lat attracts tourists seeking cooler temperatures. The average temperature ranges from 15-24°C, with colder nights during the winter months from November to February. The rainy season occurs from May to October, with the heaviest rainfall in August and September.

The best time to visit Da Lat Vietnam is from December to March, when the weather is dry and sunny, providing the ideal conditions for outdoor activities and exploring the city’s attractions.

Getting around Da Lat Vietnam is convenient, with various transportation options available such as motorbike rentals, taxis, buses, and private tours. Walking is also a popular choice, especially around Xuan Huong Lake and Da Lat Market. However, visitors should exercise caution due to busy and chaotic traffic.

Tourists can also savor “Banh Can,” a savory Vietnamese pancake made with rice flour, tapioca flour, and coconut milk. It is then filled with minced pork, shrimp, and spring onions, cooked in small clay pots over a charcoal stove, and served with a sweet and sour fish sauce.
