Starting from January 20 until March 31, the famous Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist site will be hosting a spring festival where visitors can immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of various types of flowers. They can also take part in traditional folk games and try their hand at making bánh chưng, a traditional delicacy in northern Vietnam.

Ba Na Hills director, Nguyen Lam An, said that visitors to Ba Na Hills can expect to fully enjoy the festive atmosphere of Tet and witness the tourist attraction in a new, festive look.

Le Thi Bich Huong, marketing and communications director at the Than Tai (God of Wealth) Mountain tourist site, revealed that the Than Tai Festival will be held at the site with lots of fun activities during the Tet break in February.

The Than Tai Festival, scheduled to take place from 8:30 am to 11:30 am on the 2nd, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th day of the first lunar month, will feature lion and dragon dances, fortune stick picking, artistic performances, and worshiping ceremonies, among other interesting activities, Huong added.

The festive atmosphere of Tet can also be felt throughout the coastal city, with its streets and public places adorned with colorful flowers and miniature decorations, particularly dragon-shaped ones. These spots promise to be highly Instagrammable for locals and tourists, said Le Van Tuan, the deputy director of the municipal Department of Construction.

One must-visit destination during Tet in this beach city is Asia Park, which has its pathways decorated with up to 5,000 dazzling lanterns.

Between February 11 and 19, Asia Park will offer visitors a range of Tet activities, including traditional folk games, taking photos with body-painting artists, calligraphy, and portrait painting services.

According to the city’s Department of Culture and Sports, Da Nang will welcome the Year of the Dragon with fireworks displays at three different locations, including two within inner-city districts and one in the outlying district of Hoa Vang. There will also be ornamental tree exhibitions and music shows.
