During the Tet holiday, each ethnic group showcases their unique customs to welcome the new year, contributing to the diversity of Vietnamese culture.

Visitors have the opportunity to taste traditional cakes from the Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer ethnic groups. These cakes are not only offerings to ancestors but also bring blessings for a happy life during special occasions.

The exhibition showcases more than 200 images, documents, and artifacts that illustrate the unique Tet customs of the Kinh, Khmer, Hoa, and Cham ethnic groups.

As Tet approaches, people from all over the country travel back to their hometowns to reunite with their families. This tradition has been passed down for generations and is an integral part of the Lunar New Year celebrations.

Preparations are made for Chol Chnam Thmay, the New Year festival of the Khmer ethnic group according to their traditional calendar.

The event also features traditional costumes of the Cham and Hoa ethnic groups.

Traditional dances are performed with the belief that they will bring good luck and prosperity in the new year.
