Vietnamese travelers are inclined to explore nature for the purpose of “healing”. This is understandable as people’s health, especially their mental well-being, has been negatively impacted by advancements in science and technology, climate change, pollution, and stress.
Vietnamese individuals now pay more attention to their health and seek ways to reduce stress. As a result, healing tourism has emerged, combining exploration with healing activities in natural settings.
The top five most searched destinations by Vietnamese travelers last year included the mountainous province of Ha Giang, Cantho City in the Mekong Delta, Phu Quoc Island in the southern province of Kien Giang, Con Phung Island on the Tien River in the southern province of Ben Tre, and the highland city of Buon Ma Thuot.

In addition, Vietnamese people are curious about artificial intelligence, particularly its benefits. They search for information such as “What is AI?”, “How to apply AI in…”, and “Vietnam’s first artificial intelligence robot” among others.
Google’s annual “Year in Search” roundup provides insights into what piqued people’s curiosity and captured their attention throughout the year. The lists feature search queries that experienced significant spikes in traffic compared to the previous year.
Every year, Google releases its “Google Year in Search” list based on billions of searches conducted globally or regionally. The tool provides data on search trends from its users, past and present, without revealing their identities.
