At the festival, participants and guests had the opportunity to learn about scholarships offered by the top universities and colleges in the UK. The event showcased products and services from UK companies in the consumer, healthcare, and financial sectors. Vietnamese guests were introduced to British cuisines, such as scones, tea, and fish and chips.
After Hanoi, the festival will move to Ho Chi Minh City on September 16 and Da Nang in October.
“The UK and Vietnam have never been closer, with relations at an all-time high and tremendous potential for the future,” said Iain Frew, the Ambassador of the UK to Vietnam, at a press conference on September 6. “This remarkable UK Festival in Vietnam serves as a bridge between our two nations, celebrating 50 years of enduring friendship and cooperation.”
