Three talented Vietnamese footballers aged between 13 and 14 are anticipated to receive scholarships from Hungary, allowing them to train in this Central European nation for multiple years in order to develop into professional players.
Hungary is offering 200 scholarships for Vietnamese students to pursue higher education in sports at top universities in the European country. This was announced at a recent meeting between the Vietnam Sports Administration and a Hungarian Olympic Committee delegation. Attendees at the meeting were delighted to hear about the opportunity for Vietnamese students to further their studies in the field of sports. This is a great chance for students to benefit from the world-renowned Hungarian educational system and gain valuable experience. With these scholarships, Vietnam and Hungary will further strengthen their educational ties and create a bridge between the two countries.
Szabo Bence, the director of the House of Hungary for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has outlined an extensive array of programs to promote sports cooperation between Hungary and Vietnam. He stated that the Hungarian Olympic Committee has mapped out numerous initiatives to help foster a stronger relationship between the two nations.
As part of these programs, three talented Vietnamese footballers of the specified age will be trained to reach international standards and ultimately return to their homeland to make a positive contribution to Vietnamese football.
They will be sent to the UK for a three-month training session, where they will receive comprehensive training from coaches of the Football Association.
The Vietnam Sports Administration and Vietnam Football Federation will jointly select three young and talented individuals in the field of football for a three-month training session in the United Kingdom. During their stay, the participants will receive comprehensive training from experienced coaches of the Football Association. This program is aimed at improving the skills of the chosen athletes and helping them develop their potential.
Given the close cooperation between the sports authorities of Vietnam and Hungary, many talented Vietnamese athletes, such as weightlifter Tran Le Quoc Toan, were sent to the latter country for training.
Vietnam’s national swimming team is undergoing intensive training in Hungary in preparation for the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games (May 5-17, 2021 in Cambodia) and the 2022 Asian Games (September 2021 in China).
Nguyen Huy Hoang, the top swimmer of Vietnam’s national swimming team, is being trained in Hungary. He is honing his skills under the guidance of experienced coaches in the hopes of achieving success in future competitions. Hoang is determined to make his mark in the world of swimming, and his training in Hungary will give him the edge he needs to compete with the best athletes in the sport.
The Vietnam Sports Administration proposed that the Hungarian side continue its support for Vietnam’s sports sector, especially in swimming, fencing, weightlifting, and wrestling.
