The shipment was part of an agreement signed between Thaco Industries and PITTS Enterprises, one of the 15 major trailer manufacturers in the US.
Under the agreement, Thaco will export 15,500 semi-trailers valued at 215 million USD to the US in 2022.
At the ceremony, Thaco Industries and PITTS Enterprises also signed an agreement on the exclusive distribution of 25,000 semi-trailers in the US in 2023, with a total value of over 350 million USD.
The export of THACO semi-trailers to the US not only affirmed the company’s production capacity but also elevated the status of Vietnamese mechanical products in the global supply chain./.
