A space recreating a Tet market of the old fishing village of Co Co and Hoi An Beach in the old days has been opened in the ancient town of Hoi An. With more than 30 booths displaying traditional Tet items and food, the event has attracted a range of visitors.

All visitors to the market are encouraged to wear an “ao dai” – Vietnam’s traditional outfit – to add to the vibrant and joyful atmosphere.

The event is expected to send a message of Hoi An overcoming the difficulties after being hit hard by COVID-19 and natural disasters over the last year.

The market is open until the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, or February 16./.
