With an altitude of about 2,300m above sea level, Ngai Thau Thuong village in Ngai Thau commune is considered the pristine village on cloud nine, covered with clouds all year round. The locals, old and young, sitting around on the front porch of the old house, greet you with the warmest smiles.
The scene appears extremely peaceful, making all the fatigue of the long trip disappears.

The weather gets cold easily in the highest village of Vietnam. To deal with the cold, the Hmong people in Ngai Thau live in soil-walled houses nearly 1m thick, while both the main door and the window are built small. In every household, there is a wood stove. The signature winter trait in Ngai Thau commune is the fire in the woodstove being lighted up.

The ideal cloud hunting season lasts from November to April. Although this time period is the best condition for clouds to form, it depends on your luck to capture the sea of clouds.
