The North continues to experience cold weather. During this cold air wave, the lowest temperatures in the North, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An range from 15-18 degrees Celsius. In the Northern mountainous region, temperatures can drop to around 13-15 degrees, and in high mountainous areas, there are places where temperatures go below 11 degrees.

In contrast, the Central Highlands and the South are experiencing sunny weather with moderate temperatures. However, showers and thunderstorms are expected in some areas during the evening and night.

Weather forecast for different regions

Northwest region: The weather will be cloudy with moderate to heavy rain in the early morning. Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region: Cloudy with light rain in some places, and scattered light rain and fog in the early morning. Freezing weather is expected. The lowest temperature ranges from 16-19 degrees Celsius, and in mountainous areas, temperatures can drop below 15 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 20-23 degrees Celsius, with some places reaching above 23 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: Expect cloudy and rainy weather, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms locally. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds are possible during thunderstorms. Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius. Some places in the South may experience temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands: Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in some places. Lowest temperature: 18-21 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region: Expect cloudy weather with showers and thunderstorms in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for major cities

Hanoi: Cloudy with light fog and scattered rain in the early morning. Northeast wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature: 17-19 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 21-23 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will be cloudy and sunny in the afternoon, with no rain at night. The temperature will range between 32-34 degrees Celsius, unchanged from the previous day.

Da Nang: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Da Nang area will be cloudy with some rain in some places, and less cloudy in the afternoon. The temperature will fluctuate between 27-28 degrees Celsius, a slight increase of 1 degree compared to the previous day.
