Mongolian First Lady Visits Chu Van An Primary School in Hanoi

On November 1, during the State visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Vietnam, Phan Thi Thanh Tam, the spouse of President Vo Van Thuong, and Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj, the spouse of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, paid a visit to Chu Van An Primary School in Hanoi.

Expressing her honor to welcome the two first ladies, the school principal, teacher Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh, introduced the school with 50 years of building and development, proudly named after teacher Chu Van An – a teacher who dedicated his whole life to teaching with the philosophy of humanistic education, regardless of rich or poor, learning with practice, learning to understand, to work and contribute to society.

Chu Van An Primary School is currently built on an area of 3,400 square meters, with 33 classrooms and 1,482 students. The school’s students have won many international and cultural awards. Teachers always try to create a great learning environment, creating a happy school – where students are respected and loved according to the school’s educational goals.

The two first ladies visited the school’s library, smart classroom, and art classroom, and were presented with two paintings that featured images of Vietnamese and Mongolian students in their traditional costumes.

They expressed their delight at visiting Chu Van An Primary School, with its rich history and achievements, and congratulated the school on what it has carved out in teaching and learning.

Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj said she is impressed by the school where students can develop themselves in a good learning environment, as well as the awards that the school achieved.

“I hope that all students will try their best to become excellent citizens who can make contributions to the development of Vietnam”, said Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj. She also sent her sincere thanks, while delivering the best wishes to the teachers.
