Government Awards Dong Nai Friendship Union with Emulation Flag

The Union of Friendship Organizations of the southern province of Dong Nai has just been honored to be awarded the Government emulation flag in 2023.

The awarding ceremony was held by the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on July 7.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the provincial leaders, Cao Tien Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Commendation Council, congratulates the efforts and outstanding achievements of the commended and rewarded collectives and individuals in the ceremony.

Dung wishes that the commended collectives will continue to promote their achievements, overcome difficulties, and join hands to build a stronger and stronger unit. The commended individuals continue to strive, cultivate and practice, take the lead in their work, and deserve to be the typical advanced nucleus of the agency or unit.

Dung emphasized that units and localities need to strengthen propaganda, mass mobilization, grasp and study President Ho Chi Minh’s thought on patriotic emulation, imbued with the teachings of people “The more difficult it is, the more you have to emulate”, in order to successfully carry out the socio-economic, defense and security tasks of the province.

At the same time, focusing on caring for the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services, doing better activities of gratitude, promoting the national tradition and ethics of “When you drink water, think of the source” by practical and concrete actions.

It is known that in 2022, the Dong Nai Friendship Union has organized nearly 40 people-to-people diplomacy events, contributing to fostering and building friendship relations, bringing province’s image closer to international friends. economic.

In foreign non-governmental work, the Dong Nai Friendship Union has done a good job of mobilizing, resulting in over VND 27.7 billion (USD 1.17 million) to serve the province’s socio-economic development. People’s external information work is constantly being renewed, the Friendship Union has focused on promoting Directive No. 12 of the Secretariat to all branches and grassroots Party committees in the whole province; contribute to raising awareness for all levels and branches in the province about people’s foreign affairs.

Previously in March 2023, the Dong Nai Friendship Union was also honored to be awarded the First Class Flag – Block 11 in 2022. This is the second consecutive year, the Dong Nai Friendship Union has received the title.

Also at the ceremony, the Foreign Non-Governmental Department under the Friendship Union was honored with Outstanding Performance and received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee.
