A closer look at the kitchen serving quarantined people in Hanoi
Despite being under quarantine at a military school belonging to the Hanoi Capital High Command in Son Tay town on the outskirts of the capital, people in isolation are still ensured a balanced diet with plenty of nutrition.
The military school has been hosting a number of suspected cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), with the majority of cases being returners from the Republic of Korea and other countries around the world.
The site belongs to the Hanoi Capital High Command and consists of two five-floor buildings with each floor containing nine rooms which are currently holding people who have been put in quarantine.
Individuals are put into isolation for a total of 14 days.
Just like the soldiers in the military school, people who have been put into quarantine are ensured a nutritional diet
Typical meals served cost approximately VND57,000 for one person per day.
The food on the menu changes each day, allowing hygiene and good health standards to be maintained for those staying in the quarantine area.
When food is served staff are on hand to carry meals to each person in their respective isolation rooms.
