The festival seeks to recognize outstanding artwork from young Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and other artists aged 18-35. The festival will take stock of artists’ creative processes and showcase exceptional pieces of painting, graphic art, sculpture, installation art, performance art, and other contemporary art forms from young creators in the period 2022-2024.

Organizers anticipate selecting 200 to 250 paintings for the exhibition in Hanoi during the 4th quarter.

The Youth Fine Arts Festival signifies the government’s commitment to Vietnamese fine arts and the nurturing of talented young painters, sculptors, and artists while fulfilling the public’s desire for cultural and artistic experiences.

The painting entitled “Perspective” by Tran Thi Thu Hanh received the third prize at the sixth Youth Fine Arts Festival.

Furthermore, the festival serves as an invaluable platform for young artists to engage in cultural exchange, share experiences and artistic perspectives, and contribute to the growth and promotion of the country’s art sector.

Eligible submissions include original works on contemporary themes without copyright infringement. The entries should not have been previously exhibited at national exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism. Visit  www.ape.gov.vn for more details about the event.
