Artists from Asian countries and territories will convene in Hanoi in April for Art Vogue D’ Nation Vietnam 2024, the 14th exhibition of the Asia Art Alliance.

The exhibition showcases over 60 paintings and sculptures utilizing diverse mediums, including lacquer, oil paint, silk, prints, synthetics, metal, and wood.

According to Tan Kay Nguan, Founder and President of Asia Art Alliance, “Since 2005, the Asian Art Alliance International Exchange Exhibition has graced many unique and beautiful countries worldwide. Such international exchanges coalesce art and culture, fostering friendships embedded in the artworks and introducing captivating contemporary art pieces.

“In April 2024, the exhibition will be hosted in Vietnam. This captivating land, characterized by its simplicity and warmth, exudes humanity and alluring nature. Its vibrant culture and heritage captivate, allowing one to delve into its rich history, appreciate the harmonious fusion of tradition, and modern art in the artistic realm, and experience Vietnam’s distinctive charm,” he said.

Nguan emphasized that the Asian Art Alliance endeavors to promote the integration of art into life – where painting accompanies one through joy and sorrow, empowering them to forge ahead and achieve breakthroughs. Art also cultivates erudition, refinement, and elegance.

“The unwavering passion of artists for their craft, combined with the profound bonds of friendship forged through art, reveals the genesis of our love for this medium. May our fervor for art remain vibrant and exuberant, unlocking boundless possibilities on this artistic stage,” he said.

The convergence and integration of cultures through art exhibitions not only foster unique cultural and spiritual values but also bridge friendships, cooperation, understanding, and mutual respect among artists from diverse nations, noted Vietnamese artist and painter Dang Tuan.

According to Tuan, with artists from Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Taiwan, the exhibition promises to present diverse and enriching perspectives on each participating nation’s art. Beyond the exhibition, the Art Vogue D’Nation event will provide opportunities for artists to exchange ideas and collaborate.

“It offers art enthusiasts in each country the opportunity to experience unique artworks imbued with the cultural essence of their respective nations, to embark on a journey of exploration, experience, and appreciation of the magnificent artworks in this exhibition. Together, let us cultivate a multicultural artistic community where diversity is an endless source of inspiration and empowerment,” said Tuan.
