Striker Nham Manh Dung of The Cong-Viettel FC is a familiar name to Vietnamese football fans. The 1.81m tall forward has scored numerous goals in national tournaments. Notably, at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), his only goal helped Vietnam stun Thailand 1-0 in the final match, securing the gold medal.

Midfielder Nguyen Trong Long of Hanoi Police FC played for the U23 team at SEA Games 31 where Vietnam successfully defended their championship title. As a central midfielder, he possesses a smart playing style, with physical strength and strong defensive abilities in the middle of the field.

Midfielder Dung Quang Nho was chosen as captain of the U23 team for the 2022 AFF Championship, in which Vietnam finished as runners-up. The Binh Thuan native is now one of the key players for his club side LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC.
