State President Vo Van Thuong participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Spring Colors Festival, which took place on February 24 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi.
President Thuong admires the unique cultural activities of ethnic people.
This year’s festival has the participation of about 300 people from 28 different ethnic communities in 16 provinces and cities across the country.
In his address, the Vietnamese State leader emphasized that the 54 ethnic groups have created unique and rich cultural values throughout thousands of years of national construction and protection, which have significantly contributed to enhancing the country’s position and reputation in the international arena.
