NDO – The recent programme themed ‘Rang ro mien quan ho’ (Radiance of Love Duet Singing Region) was chosen as the highlight of the 2019 ‘Visiting the land of Quan Ho (Love Duet) singing’ Festival, which is held by the Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee from February 13-28.

Quan Ho love duet singing has been recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. Bac Ninh province has made efforts to preserve the art to implement commitments to UNESCO on conservation and development of Quan Ho.
Artworks revitalise Red River trash area
NDO – Over the past two months, roads along the banks of Red River, which is a trash area in Phuc Tan Ward, Hoan Kiem District in Hanoi, have been decorated with outdoor artworks made from recycled materials. The artworks were produced by a group of voluntary painters under a project launched by Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee to enliven the riverbank site under Long Bien Bridge.
