At the gate to the Mausoleum on Ngoc Ha street, thousands queue up in long lines waiting for their turn to enter the site.
Despite the blazing sunshine, visitors flock to the Mausoleum to express their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, an individual who devoted his entire life to the cause of national independence and freedom.
The Mausoleum is located at Ba Dinh Square where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2nd, 1945, proclaiming the country’s independence and the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
