The cultural occasion represents one of the activities due to take place during Vietnam’s ASEAN Chair Year 2020.
The event saw a number of prestigious guests in attendance, including Inna Prystaiko, the wife of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, several female ambassadors, spouses of foreign ambassadors, and heads of 29 diplomatic representative agencies that are based in Kiev.
In total, the proceedings lasted for three-hours with plenty of traditional food from each of the three countries being introduced to international friends. Some of the dishes on offer include yee sang from Malaysia, and the local delicacy of spring rolls, also known as nem, from Vietnam.
In addition to showcasing regional cuisine, the embassy of Indonesia delighted viewers by putting on several performances of traditional dances.
Moreover, participants also had the chance to participate in a raffle and receive gifts that are unique to one of the three nations.
