The “Top 10 Award” is an annual houses-interior designs award initiated in 2018, organised by Kien Viet Design and Communication Joint Stock Company with the patronage of the Vietnam Association of Architects.

Although taking place in a difficult context due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Top 10 Awards 2021” still received the attention and active participation of many architects and designers as well as more than 100 architectural and architectural firms from across the country.

12 months after its launch, the organising board had received 210 projects. This is the highest number to date. The Top 10 Houses Awards category received 119 works, covering various topics from urban houses and rural houses to housing models combined with business; meanwhile the 91 works received in the Top 10 Interior Design Awards category were rich in space, context, materials, and locality.

20 best designs are displayed at the pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects and head of the jury for the Top 10 Houses Awards category, commented that this year’s works have demonstrated the creative spirit of space, landscape, locality features, and materials. Architects and designers have shown the desire to surpass existing frameworks and increasing professionalism and internationality.

Within the framework of the programme, the “Top 10 Awards Pavilion 2021” exhibition is displayed at the pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake, introducing the 20 most typical works of the Top 10 Houses Awards and Top 10 Interior Design Awards categories.

The exhibition will run until July 31.
