The Vietnamese film industry celebrates an exciting new release, “Vang trang tho au,” courtesy of Giai Phong Film JSC. With the distribution license secured from the Cinema Department, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the film is set to captivate audiences nationwide. Typically, state-ordered films find their niche during film weeks or events with political agendas. However, this time, with a proposal from Giai Phong Film JSC, the ministry has granted permission for a broader release in cinemas across Vietnam.

“Vang trang tho au” is a timely production, commemorating the 134th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh and paying tribute to his journey of national salvation 113 years ago. The film delves into the early years of his life, from 1895 to 1901, when he went by the name Nguyen Sinh Cung and lived in Hue, then the capital of Vietnam, with his father, Nguyen Sinh Sac, mother, Hoang Thi Loan, and elder brother, Nguyen Sinh Khiem.
