The upcoming exhibition promises to be a captivating showcase of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage and the nation’s dedication to its preservation. A dedicated space will highlight the attention and care that President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders have afforded to cultural heritage through photographs of their visits to cultural and natural sites and their directives on preservation efforts.

The exhibition will also feature a stunning visual journey through Vietnam’s historic cultural relics and scenic spots, with a special focus on those recognized by UNESCO. Through images, documents, and artifacts, the unique cultural heritage characteristics of Vietnam’s diverse ethnic groups will be brought to life.

Additionally, visitors will be treated to a display of calligraphy artworks inspired by lotuses and President Ho Chi Minh’s poetry. They can also immerse themselves in the intricacies of Vietnamese tea culture, marvel at light sculpture performances, and appreciate the elegance of the “Vietnamese Ao Dai” space.

The exhibition goes beyond cultural appreciation by promoting the tourism potential and One Commune-One Product (OCOP) initiatives of 25 localities across Vietnam. It also serves as a platform for the 2024 Vietnam Handicraft Products Competition, further emphasizing the country’s artisanal excellence.

According to the ministry, this event is a celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, observed annually on November 23. It presents a unique opportunity for artisans to connect, exchange ideas, and showcase the potential of craft village tourism. By fostering stronger relations between traditional craft villages and promoting international economic integration, the exhibition reinforces Vietnam’s cultural legacy and its vibrant presence in the global community.
