Ngô Thị Thúy Duyên, former runner-up of Miss Supranational, has been invited to join the judging panel for the 2024 edition of the prestigious beauty pageant.
Duyen, a native of Can Tho city, Vietnam, will arrive in Poland on June 30, ready to evaluate the contestants and contribute her expertise to the competition.
Miss Supranational, first held in 2009, has quickly risen to become one of the most renowned beauty pageants globally, standing alongside established contests such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of Miss Supranational, and the competition is set to be held in Poland from June 17 to July 6. A diverse group of 72 contestants from around the world will be participating, including Vietnam’s own Lydie Vu, aged 31, who is expected to leave a lasting impression.
In 2022, Duyen made history for Vietnam by securing the second runner-up position in Miss Supranational, a remarkable achievement that highlighted her beauty and grace on a global stage.
The male counterpart to Miss Supranational, Mister Supranational, was first organized in December 2016 in Poland. This year, the pageant returns for its eighth edition, with 40 confirmed contestants set to compete from June 21 to July 4.
Representing Vietnam in the 2024 Mister Supranational is 24-year-old model Do Quang Tuyen from Nam Dinh province. Following in the footsteps of Dat Kyo, who in 2022 became the first Vietnamese representative to win Mister Supranational Asia and secure a Top 10 spot, Tuyen is poised to continue this legacy of success.
