The Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province held a press conference in Hanoi on December 8th to announce the details of a national cultural and tourism event. The event aims to promote cultural exchange activities and honor cultural heritages while also boosting tourism development in the locality.
The festival is expected to feature around 200 boatmen from Trang An wharf who will participate in diverse art programs. International art troupes from Udomxay province of Laos and artisans from across the country will also take part in the event.
One of the highlights of the festival will be the first real-life performance held in the magical space of Trang An scenic complex. This performance will showcase the history and culture of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh through lighting and projection mapping technology, contemporary dance art, and calligraphy. It will also display the cultural colors of various localities from across the country.
The Ninh Binh Department of Culture and Information is actively working towards transforming Ninh Binh into a major cultural hub and an ideal venue for hosting international and national events in the future.
Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was designated as a dual UNESCO World Heritage site in 2014, recognizing its natural and cultural values.
